Center for Information and Technology

The training cell of the Information Technology Center primarily organizes training programs sponsored by the Directorate of Information Technology (Government of Maharashtra), the Department of Personnel and Training, the National Informatics Centre, and other institutions. These training programs are conducted in both offline and online formats. Class 1 and Class 2 officers from various government departments participate in these programs as trainees.
The Information Technology Center is equipped with a well-furnished computer lab with a capacity of 70. The training primarily focuses on providing officers with essential technical knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience required in their official duties. Topics covered include e-Governance, e-Office, e-HRMS, MahaPAR, the procurement process, social media, and more. All subjects are delivered by highly qualified experts.
Each training program is supported with the necessary facilities, and every session is evaluated by the trainees. Based on their feedback, appropriate modifications are made to the training modules. The quality and effectiveness of these training programs are evident from the positive feedback received from the officer trainees upon completion
