Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA) is the Administrative Training Institute of the Government of Maharashtra, and meets the training needs of government departments and rural and urban non-officials and stakeholders

Eligibility of Students

Candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra only can take advantage of this Programme.
Any graduate from any faculty from a recognized University (Medical graduates, should have completed internship).
Age limit 21 to 30 yrs. (Gen.), relaxation for SC/ ST- 5 yrs, and for OBC- 3 yrs.
An Ex- ACEC candidate who has availed of the benefit of Coaching for Prelims or Mains in YASHADA will NOT be eligible.
Candidates will not be allowed to do any other courses / job simultaneously.

Funds

The Centre is being funded by YASHADA & Minority Commission through Dept. of the Minority Development, GoM.
Total Intake: 30 meritorious Candidates

Free Accommodation at YASHADA (Now at PCMC sponsored center at Wakad).
Financial Assistance per month (based on attendance).

Regular Test Series Guidance: The Centre provide qualitative guidance from available resources to the admitted candidates. Experienced resource persons who has knowledge of the UPSC Civil Service Examination, newly selected IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS & Other Civil Services Officers are being engaged as guest faculty in the Guidance Programme. Eminent & professional experts are also invited as guest speakers. Regular Sessions, special Lectures for Motivation & Personality Development has been arranged.

Structure of Programme

1. Duration & Contents Phase I - Preparation for Prelim Exam -- November to April (G.S. + CSAT)
2. Phase –II Preparation for Main Exam -- May to June (G.S. + Optional I & II + Essay)
3. Phase –III Special Capacity Building -- July to October
Programme for UPSC personality test,along with Mock Interview.
