Training Activites
Training Needs Analysis
  • Conduct fresh TNA for all government departments/organizations not covered previously and for the new areas/types of training
  • Regularly update existing TNAs at a defined periodicity
  • Customize and improve the TNA module to suit specific contexts and requirements
  • Regularly communicate the training and non-training needs emerging from the TNA exercise to the parent departments/organizations
Design of Training
  • Rigorously check the design of all new courses
  • Regularly revisit the design of existing courses to ensure their continued relevance
  • Ensure consistency between the identified training needs and the training pedagogies/delivery methods used in training courses
  • Maintain a repository of all training modules/manuals and materials/aids of YASHADA and allied institutions
Training Delivery and Faculty Development
  • Monitor all training programs for actual use of appropriate training pedagogies & delivery methods as per the training design
  • Establish a SoP for screening of faculty/trainers, both inhouse & external, and ensure their correct selection
  • Maintain a database of faculty/trainers, regularly track their performance and establish a formal mechanism of feedback
  • Regularly conduct the DTS, TNA, DoT, MoT & EoT certification programs of DoPT besides any other faculty development programs as needed
Training Management
  • Prepare the Annual Training Calendar of YASHADA in coordination with all faculty & centres/units
  • Maintain a database of all training programs in e-YASHADA and ensure their continuous tracking/monitoring including rescheduling, cancellations, incidental additions, etc.
  • Coordinate the allotment of appropriate training facilities & logistical services for training programs
Training Evaluation
  • Establish a proper method & SoP of 360-degree (pre-during-post) evaluation of training activities
  • Conduct regular evaluation of all types of training programs on a sample basis
  • Commission third-party evaluation of training wherever necessary
  • Provide regular feedback to the TNA, DoT, DTS & MoT Cells for improving the quality & effectiveness of training
Foundation Training of All India Services Officers of Maharashtra Cadre
  • Conduct the Foundation Training of newly recruited officers from IAS, IFS, IES, and other All India Services, who get placed in the Maharashtra Cadre
