The Combined Probationary Training Programme (CPTP) is comprehensive and well- structured training program which focuses on fostering a cohesive state ethos, ethical standards, and shared value system among Maharashtra State Civil Service officers.
CPTP includes-
Foundation Training: Essential for building a solid base in civil service principles.
Technical Training: Specialized training tailored to specific roles and responsibilities.
Compulsory Attachments: Practical exposure through attachments in: Village,
Tribal areas, Judiciary, Legislature, Ethics Training in Public Administration,
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF)
Study Tours: Includes visits to Delhi, Maharashtra, and adjacent states to gain a broader perspective on administration practices.
District Attachments: On-ground training within various departments in district for a better understanding of local administration.
Debriefing Training: Discussions and reflections on experiences gathered during the training
This approach ensures that officers not only gain technical knowledge but also develop empathy and camaraderie, preparing them to be more disciplined, professional, and sensitive to the needs of the people they serve.
