The Indian Law Society, established in 1923 is registered under the Society’s Registration Act, 1860 and Maharashtra Public Trust Act. It is a non-profit organisation established with a sole purpose of imparting quality legal education. YASHADA have collaborated for the purpose of offering educational programs, training courses, research projects and such other activities on the terms mutually agreed upon in various areas as follows.
• Formulation of courses in the areas of law and related aspects for participants of various courses at YASHADA: i) work on identifying the resources from the domain of law and related aspects from ILS or from other partner institute to deliver those courses ii) building the resource in the form of reading materials, case studies, case videos relating to these courses to be used and also to be put online for its use; iii) deliver the course content relating to law in the administrative courses with the help of internal faculty of ILS as well as other faculties; iv) collaborate on research works on topics of mutual interest; v) jointly organize workshop seminars for citizens/participants on topics of mutual interest; vi) Work with the partner institutes of both the parties on training and education related activities.
• Common Probationers’ Training Programme (CPTP): i) Framing/amending syllabus; ii) Setting of question papers and evaluation-moderation; iii) Issuing mark sheets and results.
• Research Projects: Faculty members and selected research candidates from ILS and YASHADA will be permitted and enabled to conduct research projects jointly.
• As the collaboration between ILS and YASHADA strengthens, and prospers, more areas of collaboration may be added to the above list through mutual agreement of Parties.
