The CoE LAM, YASHADA, Pune successfully conducted the 2nd round of One-day land acquisition workshop for land acquisition officers from 17 districts of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya today i.e. on 9th March, 2026.

The workshop was sponsored by Department of Personnel and Training. The workshop had sessions on various topics such as Challenges in Time Bound Land Acquisition & Solutions, Administrative & Economic Repercussions of Delay in Land Acquisition, Interface with Forest and Tribal Dept, Engaging with Stakeholders in the process of land acquisition, Land Acquisition under National Highway Act, and a session on Case studies and experience sharing. The workshop had active discussion on case studies, best practices and cases of failures in land acquisition.

Director General, YASHADA Dr. Suhas Diwase, IAS provided valuable guidance during the workshop. Shri. Sunil Limaye, IFS (retd) conducted a session on interface with Forest. Shri. Shekhar Gaikwad, IAS (Retd), ADG, YASHADA was present during the session on case study discussion.
