On 28 November 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, YASHADA officials undertook an insightful exposure visit to the Amazon Fulfillment Centre, Chakan, in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Director General, Shri N. K. Sudhanshu, accompanied by senior officers.
As guided by the Hon’ble DG, the visit aimed to gain a first-hand, in-depth understanding of how Amazon seamlessly manages large-scale warehousing, high-volume logistics, integrated supply-chain operations, precision-based delivery systems, real-time tracking technologies, and efficient grievance redressal mechanisms—all executed with remarkable speed and accuracy.
Amazon’s operational excellence offers valuable learnings for multiple Government Departments, especially in enhancing efficiency, service delivery, and process innovation. Henceforth, participants of relevant training programs at YASHADA will be regularly taken for such exposure visits. Amazon’s domain experts will also deliver specialised sessions at YASHADA, enriching the training ecosystem with global best practices.
This visit served as an important step for YASHADA officials to deeply understand Amazon’s functioning, explore future collaboration, and identify opportunities to adapt modern, scalable management practices within government systems.
