An Enriching Experience: CPTP 11 Batch Study Visit to New Delhi -
Our CPTP 11 batch recently had the privilege of visiting New Delhi, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The study tour offered us a rare opportunity to engage with distinguished personalities, explore iconic institutions, and deepen our understanding of India’s democratic and administrative framework.
One of the most inspiring sessions was delivered by Mr. Dnyaneshwar Muley, former IFS officer and ambassador to several countries. His talk on “The Role of Civil Services in Strengthening Democracy” left a lasting impact, reminding us of the profound responsibility carried by civil servants. We also had the honour of interacting with Mr. Satyapal Singh, former Mumbai Police Commissioner and Member of Parliament, during our visit to the PRIDE Institute of Parliament. His insights into governance and public service were both motivating and thought-provoking.
Our visit to the new Parliament building and the Samvidhan Bhavan offered a glimpse into India’s evolving legislative landscape. Stepping into these spaces, rich with symbolism and history, was truly inspiring.
At the Supreme Court of India, we were introduced to the remarkable advancements in digitization and the disciplined functioning of the judicial system. Mr. Samarendra Nimbalkar, Registrar, along with Mr. Patra, graciously guided us through the premises, offering valuable insights into the Court's high standards of efficiency and integrity.
The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Exploring the majestic Darbar Hall, Ashok Mandapam, Exhibit Hall, and the grand Dining Hall was an awe-inspiring experience. Each space reflected the rich heritage, architectural brilliance, and cultural legacy of our nation. Standing within those historic halls filled us with immense pride and gratitude.
This visit to Delhi was more than just a study tour—it was a journey of learning, inspiration, and national pride. An unforgettable experience for all of us in the CPTP 11 batch.
