The National Workshop on Adoption of Modern Technologies in Land Administration was held in Manali, Himachal Pradesh on 20–21 November 2025, bringing together senior officials, experts, and technology partners from across India.
The workshop included discussions on digital land records, drone surveys, registration reforms, GIS-based mapping , Web GIS and spatial analysis, and the use of new tools in improving land administration. Different States shared their experiences and practical challenges, while experts explained how technology can make land-related services faster and more accurate.
Shri Jagat Singh Negi ,Revenue Minister, Himachal Pradesh & Shri Manoj Joshi , Secretary , Department of Land resources , Government of India addressed the participants of National Workshop on Adoption of Modern Technologies in Land Administration in India at Manali, Himachal Pradesh on 20th November 2025.
The two-day event gave participants a clear understanding of ongoing national efforts and upcoming initiatives in modern land management. Several States also made detailed presentations and participated in panel discussions on technology adoption, sharing best practices, innovative solutions, and the practical challenges faced in field implementation. Discussion also included the Naksha project and the Revenue Court Case Management system. These inter-state exchanges added depth to the workshop and contributed to shaping a collective roadmap for future reforms.
